Xero OAuth 2.0
Invoice X connects through Xero's standard authorisation flow. You approve access inside Xero; Invoice X never sees or stores your Xero password. The grant can be revoked from Xero at any time.
Security & trust
Invoice X edits real repeating invoices in a real Xero book. Everything about how it connects and writes back is built around not getting that wrong.
Invoice X connects through Xero's standard authorisation flow. You approve access inside Xero; Invoice X never sees or stores your Xero password. The grant can be revoked from Xero at any time.
Invoice X reads your repeating sales invoices and the accounts and contacts they reference. It does not touch bills, bank data or payroll. Bills are counted and skipped on load.
Every price change is held as a draft in your workspace. Nothing is sent to Xero until you press push, and Undo all discards every pending change at once.
Each changed template is rebuilt as create → verify → retire: the replacement is created, read straight back and checked field by field, and only then is the original retired. A failed check rolls the replacement back and leaves the original running.
Each person's Xero connection, selected organisation, loaded invoices and pending changes are scoped to their own session. People on the same plan do not see or overwrite each other's work.
Every price run and every push is recorded against the person who made it, including partial pushes where some templates were refused. The trail stays attributable — users are deactivated, never deleted.
Sessions expire after a set window and idle sessions are pruned. Away from the keyboard past the idle limit and the app signs itself out, with a note about where to return.
Invoice X is actively maintained. The write-back path in particular is covered by tests for the price engine and the field-by-field verification.
A note on scope
Invoice X is a focused tool, not a system of record. Your Xero organisation remains the source of truth for your invoices; Invoice X reads from it, proposes changes you preview, and writes approved changes back. If you have a specific security or data-processing question, contact us.
