Connecting Xero

Invoice X is set up entirely in the app. Create a Web app in the Xero developer portal, register the redirect URI the setup screen shows you character for character, paste in the Client ID and Client Secret, then authorise with Xero. Your client secret is stored server-side and never returned to the browser.

If your Xero login can reach several organisations, a picker appears so you can choose which one to load. Switch account drops the Xero token but keeps your app credentials, so you can authorise as a different login.

Loading invoices

Loading pulls your repeating sales invoices (ACCREC) into the workspace. Bills are counted and skipped. Loading replaces the workspace, so any unpushed changes are lost — load once you are ready to work.

Running an update

Select the templates and lines to change, then open Update prices. Choose by percentage or a fixed unit price. Advanced options (percentage only):

• Minimum increase — a floor on the dollar movement.
• Round to — 50c / $1 / $5 / $10, applied last.
• New prices start — the date the replacement begins billing.

The preview lists the old and new price for every line. Rounding never reverses the change: if a rounding step would push a rise below the original price, the original stands instead.

Pushing to Xero

Nothing reaches Xero until you push. Each changed template is written as create → verify → retire, reported per template as it goes. A failed verify rolls that template back and leaves the original running. Undo all discards every pending change before a push.

Team & billing

One plan includes up to 5 users. Everyone shares one workspace, and every run and push is recorded against the person who made it. Manage users and billing from your account settings in the app.
