Release notes
Every version of Invoice X.
The current version is 1.1.0. Check yours in the app's account menu, top right.
- v1.1.0 Latest
Tax rates now come from your own Xero organisation, so price updates work for Australian and other non-New Zealand businesses.
- Fixed Pushing new prices to Xero no longer fails with “Verification failed: total expected … got …” for Australian organisations. Invoice X used New Zealand’s 15% GST when checking the totals Xero returned; it now uses the organisation’s own rates.
- Improved Tax rates are read from Xero for every line, on each sync and again before every push — 10% GST in Australia, 15% in New Zealand, VAT in the UK, and any custom tax code. A rate change in Xero is picked up automatically.
- Fixed Template totals on screen are now correct for organisations outside New Zealand.
- Improved The Tax column shows Xero’s own name and rate for each code, e.g. “GST on Income · 10%”.
- New The version you are using is now shown in the account menu (top right), so it is easy to quote to support.
- v1.0.0
The first release of Invoice X, before version numbers were shown. Everything listed under News up to August 2026.
- New Bulk-edit prices and descriptions across Xero repeating invoices, with a preview before anything changes.
- New Percentage and fixed-price updates, with minimum-increase and round-to rules.
- New Safe write-back to Xero: each template is created, verified and only then is the original retired.
- New Repeating-income forecast by GL account, customer or currency, with CSV export.
- New Support for Xero logins that reach several organisations.
Releases reach every account automatically — there is nothing to install. For smaller announcements, see News.
